The Resident Evil 3 Remake cover art was leaked before an official announcement from Capcom.
The cover art was seen in Gamstat (via ResetEra) and Eurogamer sources have confirmed that it was the original. Gamstat is following their additions to the PlayStation Network and can be seen on the cover art for Japanese and international versions of Resident Evil 3 Remake.
Eurogamer sources said it was real after being mentioned by YouTuber SpawnWave, who previously said Resident Evil 3 Remake was on its way to its 2020 launch.
In the cover art, we see Resident Evil star Jill Valentine in a revised look, and Carlos Hair, a surviving member of the Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service (UBCS), with a new hairstyle.
And of course, we see Nemesis itself as the scary villain from the original.
After Resident Evil 2 got a pretty good remake, the fans were eager to see a similar revision of the next game in the series, and it looks like we won’t have to wait any longer for the dream to come true.
Given this leak, an official announcement is certainly not far away. The Game Awards on December 13 seems to be the right place for this.
